Never got into Metallica, don't know why though. Never even tried to listen to Children of Bodom. SOAD is amazing. RHCP sold out, in my opinion, but they had some fucking great tracks.
From rock music, I simply love SOAD, 3 Inches of Blood (it's metal, but whatever), Papa Roach and Rammstein.

I newer listened to SOAD and rest of bands you mentioned, but I love Metalica.
I just love them from my childhood, they just really great, in my oppinion.

Yeah.. I like Metallica because they are original.. They have almost all kind of music.. They're not afraid to experiment..
