Early Years (Birth-9)
Derrelle 'DJ' Johnson was born on July 16, 1984 in Compton, Los Angelas. His birth parents were Karyssa Johnson and Antonio Ricardo. Ever since Derrelle could talk he knew his life was fucked up. At age 5, his father beat his mother to death in their house. DJ didn't see it happen but he heard the screaming and pounding of fists. His mom married another man, Jamal Shan. They had 3 more kids, 2 boys and 1 girl. DJ was stuck with taking care of his brothers since age 8 when he was already getting dragged into the ghetto. He already had a USP .45 and was loaded with crack, weed and a pager.
Teenage Years (13-18)
Derrelle was already rollin' with the Kelly Park Compton Crips. He was the lead of they're drug operation. When he was 13 he just started bangin' with them. Then his brother, Shakeem was born. The Johnson family started to get a good reputation as being the leaders of the drugs operation in Compton. Every male in the family was involved. Until Derrelle was 17. The cops had cracked down on this operation. Derrelles younger brother, Devon, already started banging at age 11. The cops arrested Derrelle for 7 years. Devon got sentenced to 1 year in Juvie.
Adulthood (22-25)
While in jail at Watts, Derrelle made a new friend. His name was Malik King, a aspiring rapper. He was good, and Derrelle liked his music too. Malik was planning to move to Los Santos to be a rapper, and he wanted to take Derrelle with him. Derrelle was unsure whether if he should go or not. When he was 23, Malik was released. He told Derrelle he'd wait for him to get released before he left. At age 24 before he was released the prison guards said he was not aloud to live in Compton because he was not aloud to go near any drugs again. So Derrelle took Malik's offer to move to Los Santos.
Los Santos (25)
The two arrived in Los Santos on November 29th, 2009. It was a big city, yet the two did not know it was corrupted with gangs, drugs and weapons. The second Derrelle entered the taxi to take him to the Jefferson Motel he knew the city was as fucked up as Compton. He stayed at the Jefferson Motel for 3 days. Then he went out to the streets. He was constantly getting drug offers, he always refused until one day. He decided he needed to get money somehow, so he wanted to get it the only way he knew how, by hustling. He bought 10 grams of Cocaine to re-sell for more. One day, when business was slow, he had 5 grams left. He walked over to a group of men wearing blue in Idlewood. Unknowingly they were a gang called 'The Outset' he offered them some Cocaine. Instantly the man called over the leader. The leader supplied him with some drugs, said he had to give him half back, hooked him up with a radio and set me off to sell. After awhile I gained the trust of the leader, and the rest is history.
Where is he now?
Derrelle is still with The Outset, and still hustling. He was going to buy a Shotgun off a local weapon dealer. He payed the money but the dealer ran because he didn't have the shotgun yet. Derrelle chased him, got shot twice by him and went into surgery for 6 hours. Now Derrelle is on crutches and healing.
